My summer classes will be over next week.. can't wait.
Very eventful couple of weeks so far & then yesterday morning I caught a cockatiel!Good thing too because we had a heavy but short storm yesterday afternoon.
Yesterday I went to the vet's to borrow the leopard gecko & the bearded dragon for class so I took a good look at the dog chewed turtle- she/he isn't looking too great right now but I still think it's got a good shot at pulling through, it's just going to take time.
I asked the vet real quick how it's going she said that turtle had more worms than any turtle she's ever seen.. couldn't remember off hand exactly what parasites were there besides the roundworms that I could see, she didn't have time to stop & look it up but that's ok.
She said she's had to deworm 3 times already & they STILL are not completely gone.
Wow that's really pretty much unheard of around here.. so I wonder where has the turtle been? It's so young too.. I hope the poor baby makes it. We'll see how it's going by next week.
Please keep your fingers crossed for that poor thing!
