Slow growth in baby box turtle.

teepee Aug 17, 2003 02:16 PM

I have one box that is 3 years old. She is very slow growing(hibernated for 5 months out of the year from the first year). She is quite a bit smaller than her siblings. This is about to change. I started giving her soaked Mazuri water turtle diet with her regular food. Her growth is now spectacular. If anyone has a problem hatchling, give this food a try. It stinks like fish, but the results are fantastic.
