Sunglow? Is this correct? Does any one have a photo? Thank you!!!!

Since the Ghost ball is also considered the Hypo ball, and a Sunglow is a Hypo Albino in boas, then would it be a Hypo (Ghost) Albino combo to make the Sunglow ball python?

Yep, a Sunglow is a Ghost x Albino. I don't know if there is another name for a Pastel Albino. They look kinda like a lighter colored albino. Ralph Davis has a picture of one on his site. I'm going to try to post the link...hopefully it works.

In Boa Morphs a is'nt the Ghost Morph the Cross Between Hypo x Anery??? There are also supposedly Dominant Ghost in Boa morphs as well. I thought Sunglow was DH Albino x Hypo/pastel( I believe Hypo and Pastels are interchangable in the Boa community). If you Had Ghost Boa in the Equation you have Tripple het. Ablino x Hypo x Anery. Therefore het for Moonglow. Please correct me if I am wrong but from what I have studied about Boa morhps this is the way it works.

I don't know that much about Boa morphs, but you are right about Hypo Boas and Ghost Boas being different. I don't think that Hypo Boas are the same as Pastel boas. John Berry has them listed seperately in the Designer Morphs book. In Boas, Sunglow is still a Hypo Albino, it's just that the Hypo trait is Co-Dom in Boas.

Now, on to Ball Pythons. In Ball Pythons, the terms Ghost and Hypo get used interchangeably, and the Hypo/Ghost trait is recessive. Kevin McCurley lists the Sunglow Ball Python as a Ghost/Hypo Albino in his book, so that's what I was going by.

You are right I went back to look at the difference between Pastels and Hypos as far as boas and they seem to be listed differently. You just see a lot of Adds claiming HypoxHypo and they are Calling them Hypo pastels. I guess it's the coloring that makes them pastels?
