Got a few more hatchlings today.
I got a male from Carol Huddelston to test breed with one of my creamsicles.
She wasn't sure if it was ultra or ultramel.
This snake has definite grey rat ancestry so we wanted to keep the breeding "hybrid". She didn't have an available female creamsicle and I have a nice female cream sired by a male that I beleive to have grey rat in him.
Seemd like a good match.
anyway...so far there have been two ultramels and two amels hatch out so now we know the father is an ultramel!

Those grey rat genetics are getting everywhere.
i would suspect that all the ultras are a result from grey rat genetics, either way the ultras are cool.

For the hell of it i tried a pinky, now im an addict and eat at least 5 a week. Its strange but when you get used to them they taste like eggs.

........not many actual ultra hypos around I don't think........I bred an origional from SerpenCo to his daughter and got good eggs this year finally........too bad they all went belly up and I got just 2 left........I ope they hatch...I hope to get a pair.........even though I really really really hate anything to do with ultras........LOL
