I prefer the golden to the brown-black. I think it's a much more attractive color on a millipede. They make GREAT classroom pets. I'll have to try to HUNT some down while I'm there in July - FOR THE CHILDREN. They're on the roads too...sometimes I can drive up and down a road and score on 10-20 good looking millipedes a night; I toss back the ones with scars. You can also find them on cuts and at the base of cuts on what I guess HB12 refers to as the right of way...
