I have not posted in a while, here are some pics of our ball, Rex. We got him at the arlington, TX reptile expo a few months ago. He was three years old. He is a 75% het axanthic. He has shed twice since we got him and seems to be getting bigger. Could being in a better environment and eating more cause him to grow more?

It is either 66% (which is what I think what you meant) or 50%, or less, which most people don't quantify.

It was 66% sorry. I am not a breeder or anything, he is a pet for my son, at the time when we got him I didn't even realize he was a morph of some type. we enjoy him and hes turning out to be a great addition to the family. Thanks

Yes, being in a better environment and eating more could cause him to grow a bit. He is unlikely to grow significantly more, but what you'll probably see is a widening of his girth. Might just be the pictures (and my preference for portly pythons), but he still looks a bit skinny to me. How often/what are you feeding him?

In any case, the simple answer is yes, a little bit. Having the right heat and humidity will work absolute wonders on appetite and growth.

He eats 2-3 mice every 10 days or so. The breeder said he never took to eating rats, and he has shown no interest with me either for them and I have tried several different sizes and colors of rats. He just wants plain white mice, nothing exciting. I have also tried feeding him about once a week and he plays with his food stalking and striking but no killing and at 10 days, he is a very good eater. sometimes I will got about 14 days but usually it is every 10.
