I Love both versions, but especially the Super. Great stuff.

Wow , beautiful boas. I thought that the red one was a blood boa, but it's a possible super version of a very nice pastel acording to your site. Looks like a new morph to add to the list.
Do you think that the parents were Het. for blood and possibly not a super version of a pastel? What is the history of the parents? Do you know where they originated from?
Hi, the parents are definatly not het. for blood! That´s sure!
It could only be a super of my pastel-line or maybe something totally new! But if you look at the results of the breeding, it look a lot like a super.....
Jörn
very interesting, Please keep us posted as they get older. I know the blood boas can turn more of a brown color as they age. If this one stays deep red, that would be something.
That animals gonna put a hurt'in on the blood boa in the US
Nice Animal(s)

look similar to a blood boa until you reach the tail. The two boas pictured have nearly the same pattern and exactly the same dorsal tail coloration. Very nice boas. Looks to be different than a blood boa.

They don´t have anything to do with the blood boas! There is not even any CA influence in them! I know the line till the grandparents of the parents of the MarronPastels, columbian!!
Thanks Jörn
I was stating that they have an obvious different look than bloods. I don't think they are bloods. Sorry if that was confusing. Congrats on some awesome boas.

are going to compare those to blood boas. It does mean anything against your line, but bloods are an established morph with that same intense color. Saying, "That looks like a blood boa." is doing nothing more than making a statement. The body color is very similar, but the tails on your boas are unique. You will be asked that question many times. There is a striking similarity between the two. Once you establish your genetics and share it with others, noone will question your line. Good luck with the project.

Hey Phil, i wasn´t confused of our statement! I just want to point it up! I know they look similar with the bloods, and you hit the nail with our last post! Maybe i confused you, sorry....
Jörn
are seeing the clarity NOT seen in the early/current bloods. These are not CA's and should hold true to well bred Colombian Pastel tradition(s).It wont take a run of Macro shots to see the blood is out classed on several accounts useing these limited views
The US was clearly warned about the breeders across the pond comeing with some special animals and I believe this is a preview
of something pretty big.
