Gecko egg question.

fishiefriend Jun 22, 2007 05:48 PM

Hi. I am new to the gecko breeding deal and I've got 3 eggs, but only one I am worried about (the other 2 were just laid about an hour ago). Here's the info.:
Tank: 20 gallons (but I'm going to move them to a new 38 gallon open mesh tank soon). 2 leopard geckos (1 male, 1 female)
The incubator: a gladware 8 cup container. (can give a little more info on it upon request). It's about 80 in there.
Eggs laid on...: 1st - last week in May, and 2nd & 3rd- today around 5ish.
Um, I think that's all I can give you.

The question is: what should I do about the moldy egg (see pic)? It's been suggested to move the moldy egg to a new container, and I may do that before y'all get back to me. Another other suggestions or some advice of things to avoid when incubating would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have a closer pic of the moldy egg, and I will post it if you want.

Thanks in advance.

For moldy eggs, I've read of people using Gold Bond Foot Powder by simply dusting it over the moldy egg.
