It was HUGE!!! However, there were only a few Cham people there...TONS of snakes, beardies, geckos, etc...wowsers, I've never seen so many snakes! Got tired of looking at them...LOL!

Vield's all over the place...some babies for as cheap as $10. Saw some Panthers, some babies, some adults...2 Deremensis, male and female. I got some crickets from Flukers...$1 for 50...for my little ones.

THEN...my father decided that we needed to take something home with us, or it wouldn't be worth the 1 1/2 hour trip...sooooo, we came home with a male Carpet cham (F. lateralis lateralis)...he's so pretty...CBB and about a year old...my father and I are now fighting over whose house he's going to live at...LOL! So, I see a female in our future, as well. I'll post pic's when I can...once he gets settled in.
So, we had fun...they need more cham people there though...and more variety.

The NERD Parson's too! They were gorgeous...my father was SOOOO tempted, but he realized that if he came home with a $2000 chameleon that would live for years on end, my mother might just move out...LOL!

Anyway, they were really pretty...their skin looks so neat, but I didn't ask to hold any.

...and you say I'm nuts! I am going to a show in Portland, Maine next Sunday with the intention of only buying supplies, cages, etc. - I hope I don't do what you and your Dad did! Then I go to another in Septmeber! I met a guy today who bought a pair of Jax from a guy right here in NH! He breeds veileds, too! I just emailed him to ask if I could come to his place. It would be better if I got one local as it will lessen the shipping stress. I'll keep you posted! Congrats on your new friend - can't wait to see pix of everyone!

Oh C'mon...you gotta do what we did...LOL! It's so fun that way...we knew we had the set up, and we actually didn't like the little container that he was going to be sent home in, so we bought another smaller screen cage with grapvine and such just to get him home happily.

ANOTHER thing I forgot to say...he actually was going to get a female Jax...well, there was not ONE Jackson's to be found at the show...at least not on Sunday. I'm not sure if there were more there on Sat or what, but from what I heard, people were asking where all the cham's were...Jackson's especially.

He's such a cutie...gonna have to get a girlfriend for him sometime soon.

I guess I am past the buying at shows stage. I now usually deal with certain breeders or trade with certain dealers that buy from me. Well since I have approx 50 herps right now I need to stay away from shows.
