well i took quincy out today (the young ig with mbd) and took some photos!

quincy after climbing (all by himself) up the trunk of the sycamore tree i planted when i was in 4th grade:

in the sycamore ones you can really see his poor bent spine.

but he walked across the grass about 3 feet and then climbed right up the truck of the tree! all by himself! he climbe up a couple feet and then hung on for a good 10 minutes until i came and got him cuz he tried to climb higher. he's doing SO much better!

i didn't really realize how bent his spine was until he climbed up the tree and, in doing so, tried to straighten out his back.

he does have very pretty colors - the brown stripes on his tail gradually become turquoise as they reach his hips and on his tummy they are bright turquoise! he has lots of turquoise and blue on/around his head, also. very pretty - err - handsome (i'm fairly sure he's a male even though he is still young).
