Ball python tail sticking straight up?

heffner2212 Jun 23, 2007 01:59 PM

OK well i just recieved a baby ball female from LLLreptile....IT feels like the bone in her tail is wider than her tail and maybe broken but she doesnt seem to care when i touch it ? birth defect? Well anyway the last 2 inches of her tail just always sticks p in the air...I mean I can move her tail and all but when its not being touched its in the air? Does anyone know what this is? Is it serious? Shes doing good so far she just ate for me

She's probably musking her territory. I didn't know about this behavior until I started visiting the blood python forums. I could be wrong though. I'm a beginner as well.
