I have some good size normal females and have a 1000.oo dollars to spend. I was going to buy an albino but I guess you would only get hets. SO what would be a good choice to buy?

Depends on what you want to do. Is producing hets a bad thing?
If you don't want "hets" as offspring from your breeding attempts, then you will have to look into Co-doms. Mojaves, Pastels, Spiders, etc. You can pick up a male co-dom for under a $1000 (on the above listed morphs). Using a male co-dom to your normal females, you wil get, on average 50% normal, and 50% co-dom animals. Not an exact science, but you get the idea.

I also have a female pastel that will go this year for breeding . does any one know where to get a spider male at?

Sure, just visit the Ads on this site. There are plenty of people selling Spiders.

Save up another couple hundred bucks and get yourself a male lesser platty. The combos are great and they sell pretty good also. You can make five times your investment in the first year alone. Just my 2 cents. Paul at Steel City Exotics
