I think we need a spin-off forum...

...on pygmies! None of my pygmy questions ever get answered I know they are not as popular and there is not much written info on them but SOMEONE must have had them...maybe?

On second thought, if they set up another forum for them I would probably just be posting to myself anyway - I'm just crying the blues...it's one of those days.

Liddy is great! I spent an hour of Ed's time via phone before getting my little ones. I email Liddy and she always gets back to me and I know that this is not only their business but their life (two kids and who knows how many cham's!). I am sure she would berate me if she were to read this and say "call us anytime."

You did make an excellent choice by getting your cham(s) thru them. My first draw to them was their website! I had been looking for awhile and so many of the sites had orange backgrounds, green text, flashing stuff and exclamation points all over the place! When I found their's it was calming and lovely. I emailed with some ?? and also told her how terrific the site is...the rest is history.

When do you get your nosy be?

lidy said late may. so i think it will probably be after the holiday weekend next week. before the show it was only me that couldn't wait for the your new arrival but my wife seems to pay closer attention to shows like croc hunter and national geograghic that have been show buts about chameleons. she definately has gotten over the "yucky reptile" thing!

the cage is set up(less the misting system. that will be here next week as well)and i've been operating as through there is a chameleon in the cage. we just can't agree on a name(we had the same problem with my daughter before we knew she was a she. i wanted another boy and name him rope or cotton. my wife said "HELL NO!!" anyway daughter has a "noraml" name, shelby). i want ALAH AKBAR(i have no idea why. i know what it means but i'm not religious. i just like the way it sounds) my wife likes CROSBY after bing crosby and his blue eyes.

the name will come...let the personality come through. I've had mine for almost two weeks and the names just haven't come yet

A suggestion...try to bunch your questions together and send fewer posts. It is easier for them to get to than lots of little ones. Really, try looking at archives on your species at adcham.

There is another cham forum at Topica.com that may have a few members who have kept the pygmies. Also, you might be able to search the archives of the www.adcham.com forum (only members can post, but archives are public) to find answers.

I don't think I realized that AdCham had a forum - thanks. I feel I know a lot about the species but sometimes there is just a question that is best answered directly from one who has raised them. In a crisis, nutrional, odd behavior I would go right to Liddy.

Thanks and I will check out the other forum.
