How to distinguish fertile or infertile

kotp Jun 23, 2007 10:38 PM

I got 22 eggs from my female bearded dragon. All of them are white color but most of the eggs are very soft. Only 1 of them seems rich. Anyone can tell me how to distinguish fertile or infertile eggs.
Thanks

Well, most infertiles are like half filled squishy eggs. If they are plump and white they may be fertile. Just put them in the incubator and if they don't collapse in 2 weeks you'll have baby beardies running around in another 6 weeks or so.

you can also candle eggs to check if fertile...hold a flashlight behind the egg and check for veins...if none, typically indicates infertile.
