What is the correct doseage for this wormer for torts,. i know its for horses, but would like an idea as to bodyweight for lets say imported Large redfoots, of newly aquired box turtles while in quarantine. Thanks for the replys. Jim

You need to talk to your vet about that. It's technically illegal for anyone to give you dosage amounts over the internet as they could be prosecuted for practicing medicine without a lic. ..even vets won't tell you this over the net because for them to 'diagnose' & 'prescribe' without seeing the animal is a no-no unless they already have a working relationship with you and have seen/examined the animal in person.

Well if you can recomend a good tortise vet, I'd be glad to call/ see him or her. Just looking for what's normal in the import/ pet trade, and not looking to get anybody sued over the internet. I'm not sure if the " vet police " are reading this or not. If anyone can help, thanks. Jim

EVERYTHING COMES OUT.
I WOULD GIVE YOU THE DOSE I USE IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE SAME IT GOES BY WEIGHT BUT I DO NOT WANT ANY HEADACHES
I HAVE HAD NEGATIVE COMMENTS JUST OVER USING CAPITOL LETTERS
GO TO A TORTOISE CLUB MEETING THEY WILL GLADLY TELL YOU
OR A SHOW
IF YOU KNOW OF A VET BUT DOESN'T KNOW TORTS WELL OR IS HESITANT
GET THE PANACUR AND READ SOME TORTOISE BOOKS THEY HAVE THE DOSES LISTED IN THEM
YOU CAN PUT THE PANACUR IN BABY FOOD OR MIX IT WITH MAZURI FOR SAFE DOSING
HAVE THE VET SHOW YOU IF HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING
IT AS IT IS A REGULAR PROCESS WITH TORTOISES
ALMOST ALL TORTOISES HAVE SOME FORM OF WORMS AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER IF KEPT OUTDOORS FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME
