All of the photos of the lewisi, the pure and the hybrids, are actually more blue than the photo's show. All those keeping lewisi, should strive to keep the lines as close to pure as we can get, and not breed lizards that pretty much look like cubans. Although great pets, the cuban looking hybrids should probably stay just pets. Like I said before, if one wishes to breed, breed pure cubans or rhino's. If one can afford the high percentage lewisi, then breed those also. Every time I have talked to zoologist/herpetologist about the captive "nubilia" situation in the U.S., they all say that it is a horrible mess.
