Size of breedable female?

rocket Jun 24, 2007 06:12 PM

My females are nowhere close, but at what size could you safely breed a female ball python. I know about three years old but size wise?

Thanks

Ive had a couple females lay this season at 1200-1300 grams and never again. IMO thats to small. I'm going with the 1500+ gram mark. They are ALOT healthier if you ask me.

What was bred and what were the results of these breedings? I will have several female morphs that should be pushing 1300-1400grams and I'm having a hard time talking myself out of letting them go this year.
