I have a two-year old mellow male ball. I am considering adding a cat to my family, and was wondering if anyone else has both a cat and a ball, and if so if you have had any issues (i.e. cats trying to get in the cage, snake having a breakdown at the smell, etc.)

I have 4 cats and 14 ball pythons. I haven't had any issues, but I still wouldn't trust the cats. They can't get into the main herp room, but they can get into the quarantine room. Just make sure the cat can't get into the cage an you should be fine. My cats watch the snakes every once in a while but its never a big deal.
