My gecko just finished a shed, and for the first time ever, it wasn't completely eaten. All came off except a spot on the tip of the nose. Does this mean he is sick?

It doesn´t mean he is sick. Maybe his hide humidity level was too low. Next time try keeping his hide moist (specially when his about to shed).
