Thanks for the compliment! The one that really stood out to you was a male Gonatodes albogularis fuscus!
I knew that, hahahaha, yeah right I can not even say it
Wow he sure was stunning!

The common name for that subspecies would be the Costa Rican Yellow Headed Day gecko! Theyre the largest of the albogularis complex and sport nifty black tails with white tail tips. Very beautiful in person.
Beautiful pictures!!!
Congratulations on your collection...

Very Awesome collection of mini geckos you have! I am truly jealous! Im currently working with Rachs, but would like to get into smaller species and natural vivariums in the near future. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations of good quality breeders/dealers who regularly have small species like these for sale? Thanks-Jer
Not a whole lot of people are really working with these species on a large scale, I do breed all these, so if youd like to get in touch at Starrynightexotics@yahoo.com please feel free.

Thanks for the info. Its very true not many people are into tiny lizards. Most everyone likes somthing they can handle. This last summer I was given about a dozen Anolis sangrei eggs which I hatched out in a thickly planted ten gallon tank, and the babies were fascinating to watch as they established territories and chased each other around.Im keeping a unique shaped 30 gal empty and on reserve to set up with a small group of Gontatodes or Sphaerodactylus(or P.klemmeri if I win the lottery!)
No problem at all. In my limited experience with these animals, I can tell youre best bet would be to use that 30 gallon for something else, Gonatodes and Sphaerodactylus do much better when kept singly or in pairs in tanks more along the ten gallon (or usually smaller)dimension. Very fun geckos to work with!
They are beautiful! Are all of those pictured diurnal? i have never seen a gecko with red as brilliant as yours. I was quite taken with that one.
All Gonatodes are diurnal in the majority, many of the Sphaerodactylus are also crepuscular. Thanks for the compliments!
