I'm a first time chondro breeder and was wondering if any one had any good tips for getting babies going or is it just a matter of patience.

feeding babies can sometimes be tricky .... I feel in order to give you proper advice I need to ask some questions.
1) How old is this baby chondro?
2) where was it purchased from? farmed? or CB? (i mean USCB)
3) When purchased what did the breeder tell you the baby was
eating?
4) Has it eaten for you yet?
baby chondros can be a big pain to get started.
for the most stubborn feeders.Chick, frog, anole even gerbil scenting can do the trick.

These are babies that I just hatched this year from my long term captive adults. They are about 5 weaks old now and I was just wondering if their were any little tricks that I just had not heard yet.
Hot and Wet ! work's every time for me,
i've just bought home a nice big female from holland and the vender that i bought her from said she was feed live prey. I set her up in a sweeter tub for a week, offered her a Hot and Wet medium sized rat and she took it straight away and has feed another 2 times since the same way.
I have also used chick wing's (thawrd in Hot water and dried to fluffy) to get some sibling's going, i know there isn't much nutrition in a wing but it's something in the stomach and get's a feeding responce. Once they have taken just the wing on it's own several times you can follow-on with a small pink. Do this several times then just forget about the wing's.
