There is a white spot on my Red-Eared Sliders shell, underneath a layer that is peeling. I recently had shoulder surgery so I wasn't able to change the water in the tank, I did once and hurt myself. The water got pretty bad and I just recently was able to change the water again and now I have noticed this spot on her shell. I have had this turtle since it was a hatchling, 3 years now and I planned on having it for a even longer time. I have read on a lot of other sites that it might be shell rot, but I want to be certain what it is so I can get it treated as soon as possible.
