FL bond update

I just spoke with FWC in Tallahassee and directed them to their web page which spawned the letter mentioned below in the post titled "ATTN. FL. VENOMOUS KEEPERS" stating that private venomous keepers would need to post a $1,000 bond starting July, 1.

They agree that this is an error and promised to correct the web page. Anyone who receives paperwork from their local office stating that they need a bond for private possesion should ask them to call Tallahasse for clarification.
