Do you mean safe plants that you can use in an outdoor pen or for feeding?

For planting I used this list http://www.chelonia.org/Articles/plantsthatpoison.htm
and avoided anything that was on it.

In my yearlings' pen I have a patch of turnip greens and collards planted, these are edible and provide thick cover that they love hiding under. Both greens are also fast growing.

I use tomatoes, blueberries, hostas, and estillbas(sp?). Hostas can get big but the other three have worked fine for me.
