Hard bellied neonate assistance needed..

bthacker Jun 25, 2007 08:21 PM

Unfortunately I had a premie and slug litter a week ago and I got one little baby to make it. It doesn't have it's umbilical cord as I tied that off the 2nd day and I let the Boa rest and gave it heat, water and the necessary requirements to survive.

It has developed a really hard belly like it has swallowed a rock and it doesn't appear to be going anywhere. I have seen posts on this before and was wondering if anyone experienced this and if they could shed some light on how I can keep this little fighter alive.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks-

Brett
