curently i have a 24" hood that houses an 18" bulb. the new cage i got is an odd size at 30" long and the only thing i have found is a 36" fixture and light, which is too long and a 24" fixture and light that isn't as long as the cage.
does anyone have any suggestion as to what to get or am i ok with what i have? also the back right corner of the cage is where the heat light is, if that matters.

I just let them overhang my 30-36 inch cages. I got the fixtures at a home depot for $8.00 each so I don't care if they look funny they are in my reptile room anyway.
