cornsnake problem

mdmannel Jun 26, 2007 12:59 AM

so my cornsnake, three years old about three feet long, was on my lap in my car when it crawled into a small hole in the seat when i was driving, i know where it went but now i cannot find the snake because the hole was extremely small and by they time i took the seat off he was elsewhere. Now all my seats are out and i've checked my car in almost every space, i have water and a mouse in there to try and get him out, a friend recommended i use duct tape to stick him when he comes out for water or food, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

This is not really a "cornsnake problem" it's really more of an "Owner Problem"

I realize that it's a bit too late at this point, but in my opinion and i am sure others will agree that your snake should have been in a secure enclosure or a knoted pillow case when being transported in your car.

...would be to NEVER drive with a snake on your lap, EVER again! I know this suggestion does not help you in your present situation, but it may actually save your life and the lives of others. Come on,now! WAY too much of a potential distraction while you are doing something very, very important. And while I have the attention of at least some of you...Ditch the cell phone, too. I have a bumper sticker that says, "Hang Up And Drive!" I hope you get your snake back safe & sound. Duffy
