I wasn't able to get a shot of her with that first visible egg, because it was about to fall out when we got home, so I had to go prepare a container of vermiculite and pull the egg out.
There were two other eggs on the other side, and I had to do alot of digging, then resort to going to the other side, where the plastron and carapace had been separated in the injury, but I had to cut away alot of tissue to dig those out.
In this photo you can see some of the immature eggs although there were alot more than you see. I'm guessing there were around 10 immature eggs.
Incidently, when I was digging up Mattie's nest there was a little tiny egg with the other eggs, it was calcified, but it was the size of some of those immature eggs you see. I put in in to incubate with the other eggs, just to see what, if anything, would happen.
