Very nice hybrids and nice pics. Very well put about breeding lewisii. Did you get a camera finally or are those scanned? If you got the camera let us see some of the ctenos. Tom

Thanks Tom, I did get a digital camera, and I will post some photos. I'm mostly now getting photos for the web site.
Can't wait to see it. I can now definately see what Bobby is talking about the more pure lewisii. I am somewhat of a purist myself. I do not even breed chucks from different locales together. AZFG will not classify the South Mountain redtail chuckwalla as a sperate species even though there is as much of a genetic difference between those and other obesus as there is between varius and obesus. I hope people that have the redtails will only breed redtails. Even though they are not in trouble like the cyclura the whole captive population will become a mess. There is already a guy in Texas that crossed redtails with NV chucks. I was going to buy threm all and freeze them but that would give incentive to breed more. At least he is telling people they are crosses. The danger with this is that they can be released locally and contaminate populations. Some people say they would just be washed out after a couple generations- I hope so. Sorry enough ranting. Tom
