Does any one have building plans for a cage made from MDF or particle board? Including heat and lighting. I will be building them for my BCIs. Roughly 4x2x2.

i believe mdf will fall apart on u, from the water and humidty unless u line it with something, particle board may warp. Everbody talks about using melmaine but i havent quite figured out what that is......lol

Melamine is a coated particle board, typically white. Like the stuff used in closet organizers. For durability, get cabinet grade, NOT the stuff at the hiome improvement stores. That stuff is fine for racks, but cages get a lot more abuse.
