Belly normal or eggs??

crazydragon Jun 26, 2007 09:03 PM

This is our newest gecko. We noticed that her belly has these white oval egg shape things. Are they eggs or is this a normal belly. We found out she was in with a male, she's about 8 inches long. Not sure of her age ,have to find that out. Her temps are good and she is eating well.

Im actually a first time breeder myself and am still enjoying the breeding season with 4 hatched, 5 to go.

From the looks, the eggs should be ready to hatch in between 1 and 2 and a half weeks maybe sooner. I would have to have a better look.

If you see your leo climbing on the pexi glass vertically, with her belly on the glass, shes getting ready to lay very very soon.

Make sure you make a nice humid hide ready for the egg laying.

Pricing for the leos im still looking into, I just posted a post on that.

Pricing depends on a variety of things as so it seems.

Color, Pattern, Sex, Tail Size, etc...

Normal the least expensive and High Yellow is the least expensive other color. Anything other than those two types can vary in prices, some leos go up to be about $1000 The Diablo Banco on leopardgecko.com has earned that price.

All depends, do some research on both, The Hertoculture of Leopard Geckos is a great book. =D
