How hard are those to get feeding at that size?

zach_whitman Jun 27, 2007 08:07 PM

We will soon find out.

I havn't raised enough of them to make any generalizations. I have had a few that started on day old pinks, or pinky heads on the first shot and have never missed a meal, and a couple others that took months of assist feeding.

I have some new ideas for this year though. I'll keep you posted.

Congratulations! They are great looking little pythons!

Big congrats! That is nice to see those produced. I need to pick some up someday.

Is that the egg-crate sold for light panels? Yikes, those just aren't just tiny pythons, they are tiny snakes in general! Antaresia are just great. All that big python personality in a manageable package.

When are you sending me mine???

garweft Jul 07, 2007 10:28 AM

I should have added a LOL at the end of that. I re-read it at it sounded kinda bad, like he owed me something.

I'll have some individual baby shots to post soon.

They just shed and each one weighs just 3.5g

Does anyone know how this compares the the weights of neonate childrens pythons?

improvius Jul 08, 2007 10:30 PM

The Children's are about twice the weight of anthills.
