Big Hill Female

Here's another pic of that female I caught this year. She has already eaten two pinkies!
Now shes settled in her new tank.

Is soaking normal? Sometimes she comes out during the day and soaks. :/

thanks

Great find and very nice looking enclosure!

I find that my alterna soak when it gets a bit too hot in my herp room.. So, check your temps and if that's not the issue and the soaking bothers you switch to a smaller watter bowl..

That is a really nice snake and quite an elaborate set up. Looks as though you have a really nice display. Soaking should not hurt your snake. I have some snakes that are in their water bowls constantly, and others that never get in theirs, all in identical conditions. My Davis animals tend to stay in the bowls more than other localities. If your animal is eating, I would say that environmental conditions are fine.
