How much real sunlight do you let you beardies have? How often do you take them outside?

Now that it is finaly warming up I am taking all my reps. outside.

Just wondering how everyone else does it too?

30-60 minutes a day is wonderful.....if it's warm enough even longer......I live in AZ and now have outdoor cages for the summer so they stay out all the time.....of course they have plenty of shade and water access due to the heat.....

I own 5 beardies. I take the females out seperated from the males for 40 minutes each on a sunny day. I live in N.J. and the weather has been cool around 70-75 the past two days, but rainy today. Be carefull though yesterday I took out my beardies in a box, and took a the temperture of the bottom of the box and it read 111 degrees, and was getting higher. The sun can be very deceiving as the outside temp yesterday was only 73. One other thing. Your beardie can be the kindest most relaxed beardie but let something spook it, like a bird flying over head. You will get the shock of a life time as it springs from your lap into a defensive display with the beard out, flat body, and mouth wide open. I learned this the first time I took my male out without a leash, or box. Freaked me out half to death. lol
