Very cool! Say, your pictures are not bad at all! I don't know why you think so. When do you expect your litter of BRB's?

the bield was sold to me as a male but i dont know how to sex chams specialy vields. and the rainbows are due anywhere from now till around aug 13th roughly thats goin by shed dates there were two diff sheds close together so we will see im tryin the shed date thing with rainbows like with the corns bci and pythons so somewhere in that time date hopefully

waspinator421 Jun 28, 2007 12:39 AM

Veileds are extremely easy to sex, even right after hatching. If you look on the back of his back feet you'll see a small mound of skin, or 'spur'. If it is there you have a male, if not, female.

I'll be looking forward to your BRB babies. It's nice to know a breeder so close!

i posted this in cham forum but goin no where
i wanna build a cage for my cham but i dont wanna spray my fricken walls down when i mist the cage like what would happen with screen cages think a cage made of glass/plexi sides back/bottom with screen front and top would work specialy since a fan is goin in the room at all time so there would be plenty air flow?

waspinator421 Jun 28, 2007 12:51 PM

I really don't think it will be enough. Usually 3 open sides is a minimun, more is better. what if you put up some plastic on your wall behind the cage, then you wouldnt have to worry about anything. Me, I have him in a completely screened cage with nothing on the wall. When I spray the wall does get some of it. I know its not good for the wall, but I haven't noticed any damage as of yet.

Scales are blue.......

Nice shot, it's all in the angle to the light. Play with it and you'll get even more irridescence!

Congtrats on "fixing" the corn condo problem, they are a nice looking bunch.

Second from the last looks like "Forkfire" to me. The head pattern looks like a tuning fork with a flame between the tines.

rainbowsrus Jun 27, 2007 03:48 PM

I use that same method for many of my rainbow boas, some unique pattern near the head or even further down if it sticks out.

Bullseye - the first pattern round with a dot in the middle
Daisey - rubber duck shapped pattern
Clover - three leaf clover as her first pattern
Crystal - snow-woman
Hook - hooked bullseye on side
Dumbo - elephant ear pattern
Dottie - many bullseye patterns on sides

I like those corns. The first and the last especially. If you decide not to hold them back anymore, let me know. What type are they? Rootbeer?
