When is the best time to sell Baby Leos?

DarkBlades Jun 27, 2007 05:40 PM

Ninja and Ninjetes breeding season has been very successful. 4 Leos have already hatched, 5 on the way, with only 3 losses.

I do plan to keep one leo, but I plan to see the rest. 2 questions...

When is the proper time to sell the baby leos?

&

How do I price the Leos?
-----
Normal - Male - Ninja
High Yellow - Female - Ninjete
Normal - Female - Lizzy
Newborns of Ninjete, het for High Yellow

You should wait until they are 6 weeks old before selling them, especially if you are going to be shipping them. I like to wait until they are 8 weeks old and 15 grams before sending them off, but local sales to experienced keepers are sometimes done earlier.

As for pricing it looks like they will be normals, or high yellows at best. I would price these around $25-$35 depending on how/where your selling them and local demand.
