I have 3 geckos in a 10 gallon enclosure. 2 females and one mail.Recently my female laid eggs. However whenever I incubate them, the eggs wrinkle and then mold. Are these eggs a lost cause?

Also how will I know if the eggs were fertilized? Thanks for you help!

Sounds like either the eggs were infertile or there's an incorrect humidity level in your incubator. You can 'candle' the eggs by putting a light source behind them to tell whether they're fertilized. Someone with more expertise in this can chime in on exact details, I'm sure.

BTW, 10 gallons seems a tad small for 3 geckos to me, but I may be a bit biased, as I have *1* female in a 20 gallon long...

Excellent! I will look into a larger encloser!

Also when I candle the eggs will the embryo be developed enough to see?

Are wrinkled eggs a lost cause? Should I dispose of them?
