I took a picture of my Kisatchie this morning while I was waiting for him to finish breakfast. This picture I think shows pretty well this kind of pearl/translucent quality he has in some light. Pretty neat. His name is 'Butchie,' from the new HBO show, John from Cincinnati.
Regarding the previous post about feeding and aspen bedding, I got the idea from this list to put a tupperware with mice in it into the cage. Then when feeding is over, I just tip it sideways, and the snake is comfortably back in his environment. It is so simple and has worked really well for us. I recommend it because you don't have to pick up and move your snake right after a meal.
