Daytona Return! What a Wonderful Weekend... NEW MORPH!

CheriS Aug 17, 2003 10:28 PM

If you never take another vacation in your life, but one, make sure you go to the Daytona Expo Show weekend!

Not just the GREAT vendors, new things and awesome buys, but the biggest thing to me is the other people. Many from here on KS and other list and forums. Seeing and holding others fav reptiles and the discussions!. It's so great to be able to meet face to face all the others we chat with and even the ones we debate!

The best fun to me is after the show closes and the night life starts and also the mornings before the show.....(at least the ones that can get up for breakfast after the night before )

Hands down the nicest dragons (except for the new morph) where the Dachiu's(Bearded Dragons and other Creatures), if you ever want one of these gems, go in the door and locate them fast, they do not last for sale past the first few hours. Other blue ribbon winners are Kevin Dunne's Snows and Bloods(Dragon's Den)... just to beautiful for words, Connie and Keith of Leaping Lizard's striped babies, and two new names to me called Dragon's Lair and KWE. All five with some of the healthest, alert and nice dragons I have ever seen.

We have pictures of all of them and some of their animals and I will upload them later and post them... just to wiped out right now and going to bed.

Also, will post a picture later of the strangest new morph reptile I have ever seen...... Joel R called a Honduras corn snake, it has a beard, 4 chunky legs, long tail and the cutest grin on its face and also is very cuddly.... why it looked so much like a bearded dragon, I am sure its one of those impossible crosses that people have been talking about lately on here. At the hotel, everyone kept saying she is "the most beautiful dragon in the world!" and best of all...... SHE IS MINE!!!!!!!! This was the best weekend ever!

Whee! It was good to see Cheri and Axe again! I've never seen a Daichu dragon in person before; these dragons are beautiful and they are very nice folks. I also got to see Sue1/Dan, Jiffypop, & Eva again and meet Gunilla for the first time :D I also got to see Q (aka Quantas), who's the daughter of my Yucca and Daytona :D

When I have pictures uploaded, I'll put a link from my www.beachy-iguana.com page.

Back in So Cal,
Des.

can forget about who will kidnap her!! Remember, she spend the trip across the state in my ::cough:: underclothes?

This is truly a well traveled group baby, parents Yucca and Daytona, egg laid in California, hatched in another state, raised by Ronnie in yet another state, taken across state to Sue and Dan by me and Axe, and returned to Daytona where one of her parents started out...... LOL Jet Set baby!

She is adorable and loved by many!
