They are Het Albinos that are expressing some of the visual trait. VPI had a pretty in-depth article about it; I can't remember if it was on the main page or the magazine though?

BALLERS Jul 01, 2007 08:41 AM

I dont think it has been proven yet. Some say albino, some say het, so until we breed paradox to paradox we will not know. Thanks

Very cool looking ball. I think it looks better than the other paradox albinos that I've seen posted in the forum.
CONGRATS !

ballisticmorphs Jun 29, 2007 08:23 PM

That is totally awesome!!! Will you post a pic of the other paradox albino.
Thanks,
Rich & Debbie

bpfreak Jun 29, 2007 09:29 PM

This may be a dumb question but are the paradox anything... in this case albinos... homozygous or hets??... or does it differ some times.
thanks

Camlon Reptiles Jun 29, 2007 10:44 PM

crazy! What did you do to that Ball? That's really neat. Just look at all the cool stuff people keep producing and everyone thinks the market is blah, blah, blah...NO WAY! Congrats and WOW!

You are right this market has along way to go.Terry

amarilrose Jun 30, 2007 01:38 AM

Can I ask what your 2 paradoxes are?

Both male? Both female? 1.1 pair?

Could you post a pic of the other one?

Congratulations to you! I am assuming you will be breeding the parent animals to each other again next season. Let us know how their later clutches turn out too!!

Good luck

like you spilled some bleach on a normal ball python. Very cool looking animal. Congrats!

A paradox is just a random occurance, right? I recall that no one has proven them genetic yet. . . . but has anyone bred 2 paradox together? Inquiring minds want to know.

The snake is AWESOME! A big congratulations on the production!

But what I want to know is how you came up with those ODDS???? 2 Paradox Albino, 2 Albino and a PH Albino on a het to het breeding with just 5 eggs??? WOW are you lucky! I suggest you go play the lottery now!

We did produce two paradox's, but the other one is not well developed, and not as extreme as the one pictured. It may not even live, but we will take plenty of pics to show that we did produce it. I am currently working on pairing this one up with another paradox owner, so we can breed paradox to paradox and see what we can get in the future. We know nothing of this mutation yet, but we are going to do our best to see this project through. Our odds were excellent, and all I can say is HARD WORK DOES PAY OFF! I will post pics of the other paradox as soon as I can. It looks more like a normal and has one area of albino showing through. Thanks for your interest, and thanks for all the kind comments. We appreciate it!
