A Couple of questions

I hate to sound to stupid here, my wife and i have only been into snakes for about a year and a half. we know have 3 red-tails and 3 ball pythons nothing special but special to us. i need to know some signs of what to look for in a pregnant red-tail. we are hoing she is bred and she has been growing not to quick. any advice anyone has for a novice i would appreciate it. just in case some one asks she is old enough to be bred she is 6yrs old. and 7 1/2 ft. also we have recently switched to feeding frozen thawed what is the best way to defrost. we soak them in warm water for a little while and then move the bodys in our hands to make sure they are thawed and then soak them for a few more minutes to get them warm agian before feeding. once again please forgive my ignorance in these matters i just want to do what is right for my snakes.

Put your planned feeders in a clean zip-lock bag and then in the refrig the day before the planned feeding.
Fill the sink with "HOT" water and allow the bagged prey to warm for about 30 min.It works best if you can get most of the air outta the bag then submerge the prey for even warming.
