West Texas Etiquette??

LloydHeilbrunn Jun 30, 2007 01:23 PM

As I have mentioned, I plan my first trip ever next month.

I don't want to step on any toes, so, any etiquette tips?

Since, here in Florida, we seldom run into other herpers, I am most concerned about what to do if I see others at "the next cut".

Do you ask to join them,if you see them taking photos of something can you do so, do you pass by a couple hundred yards and work the area, do you go to the other side of the road,do you go to the next cut, do you take turns leapfrogging areas etc.

What do you do if you see someone obviously cruising ahead? Stay behind and get scraps, or try to pass and get well ahead,or try to find another road?

What impolite things do others do that annoys the heck out of you, so I can avoid them?

Thanks.

Mainly, be considerate. Don't U-turn and start looking in front of someone. If you need to pass them, scoot ahead a quarter mile or so to give them space. There is plenty of room out there.
I have no problem with stopping to talk to others I see out there.
Of course, with HB12 in effect all of this is moot.

My God, I think you're right!! I believe I've heard of Preparation H-B12! Wayne, it's for hemorrhoids, not priaprism...

If it were for priapism in herpers it would be called "HB-5"
