This was my first year to attend the NRBA. All I can say is WOW!!! If you didn't make it, you missed out on a GREAT SHOW!!!
I bought two more Balls from the man I bought Rachel from. They were labled as high orange in color. I will put pics up soon. I bought a third for my friend for her birthday in Sept. I KNOW these will eat just fine! They are really tame and don't mind being handled already!
ANYWAY, there were a LOT of reptiles that I had NEVER seen before! One guy was carting his albino Green Iguana around! WHAT A BEAUTY!
Another vendor had a full grown ball. I had never seen a full grown ball, so it was neat to see just how big Rachel, Cortney and Dudley (to add fuel to the "housing multiple snakes together, they are currently housed together in a ten gal. tank till I can get my 150 set up tomorrow!) will get!
I have decided to save as much money as I can for next year, and do some research on the green tree python (biot[?sp]) Kevin from Ectothermics has a BEAUTIFUL girl that is the result of serious, intensive breeding! I will DEFINATELY buy one from him next year!
Back to the show. Again WOW! SO many vendors! SO many different species, breeds etc! Many different housing methods, misting systems, enclosures! We spent FOUR HOURS walking around and didn't see half of the vendors or animals/accessories on display! You REALLY need a WHOLE weekend to see everything!
I was disappointed though. I was waiting for a call from Rose about where/when to meet for lunch, but never a ring! I REALLY wanted to meet them and some of you as well!
I did get by the kingsnake.com stand. I also got to tell the person manning the booth that I tell the sites I contact that I saw their advertisement on the forum here.
Well, I hope to hear some other stories from the show. It was a GREAT TIME! I look forward to another one next year! WOW! :0)
