New to CWD ownership.. need pointers..

leopardlover6986 Aug 17, 2003 11:56 PM

Hey guys! My names Marisa.. and I have owned many lizards in the past and currently have a 1 year old Bearded Dragon and am a new owner to a little chinese water dragon named Jack Daniels (aka JD). He's a jumpy little bastard.. not at all like my beardie was when he was a baby. I know I should have done research before I got him.. but it was one of those "sick babies in a BAD petstore setting" so I just had to bring him home. I read up about them for hours after hours and weeks after weeks that I've had him. He's a tiny little thing but he is growing. he's doing really well.. I would just like to know when I should start to put him in a larger tank.. I really want to get him one of those arborial aquarium things and put live trees in and a waterfall. He's in a 10 gallon right now cuz he's so tiny. He eats like a mother though. Damn near cleans me out of house and home. I've nursed him back to health as you can see. I'll soon be posting pics up.. He won't eat his greens.. hmm.. So anyone, I'd LOVE advice!

Thanks,
Risa

none of them will eat greens if they dont move, you should put worms in the greens so when they go to get a worm they get a mouth full of greens. you should get a big cage, something around 4 feet tall and 1 foot or so wide. the reptarium cages r good to use. he will grow in this and the you can get him his big fancy waterfall cage.if you need any thing else email me lrptls@aol.com
