Snake Breeders In Pennsylvania

skum2747 Jun 30, 2007 06:39 PM

I have looked all over online and for some reason cannot find any snake breeders in my state. I live in Philadelphia so this might be my reason of difficulty. If anyone knows of any information where I can find a kingsnake breeder in my state then that would be great. I am currently looking to get a gray banded or Arizona Mountain. I would prefer to buy a snake from a breeder as opposed to a pet store.

Thanks, I will certainly check it out. If you know of any near Philadelphia that would do wonders as well. Thanks again.

I'm from Philly but I know Ted & have seen his stock in person & it is awe inspiring. I don't breed greybands or arizonas though. I keep easterns calligasters & mex-mex.

I don't mind checking out other species. If there is anyway I can see them I would love to. As long as they are no bigger than two feet. I like to start off small and young.

Do you live anywhere near Hamburg, PA?? If so you will be able to find just about anything you want at the Hamburg Herp Show..

Also, there are some very good breeders here on kingsnake that can ship animals to your house..

I am within driving distance but the problem is I have to go to annual training (I am in the Guard.) during the time it comes there. If possible I can probably make it to the Maryland show in July. But just in case I thought it would be good to see if there is anyone nearby me. I went to the hamburg one in April and got myself a very handsome Californian King who is doing quite well. Just want to satisfy my amazement with a different species by keeping TWO snakes (not in the same tank of course).

I am quite annoyed that I will miss the Hamburg show this coming August,
