Neat new baby - pastel marble

Tracy Barker Jun 30, 2007 09:48 PM

I was waiting for these and they look neat! This is a pastel marble from a Citrus pastel marble. The black is just randomly splotched on both sides-big patches! I'll post some more pics after they shed. Next pic is one of the Citrus pastels that hatched alongside. The "Citrus" is a pastel line developed by Amir.

This snake is very clean and a bit lighter than in pic. Can't wait to see after it sheds, there were two, and both have lots of light centers and totally white ventrals.

Wow! Those are some great looking Pastels. I especialy like that Citrus. Great dorsal blushing. How do they hold their color as they age? Any pics of an adult? Great job! Love the Axanthic Woma also.

WOW-awesome, Tracy.....Love the clean yellow and sharp contrast between light and dark. My own preference is to increase the color intensity and contrast, so I much prefer this one to the animal above-but both are great accomplishments and very interesting!

combination because it makes you think about something that now looks like an asset vs a liability. Normally we try and "clean up the flecking" on the sides of the ball python-but in this case of the woma ball where the flecking is dark-it is actually an asset because the black flecks meld together and are remindful of the marble trait. Hmmmm I love the idea that we may have totally overlooked and simplified-now we can go back and say, wait a minute, maybe we should look at this variation of flecking vs non flecking differently!
