San Diego Reptile Show

Had never been to one of these. Pretty amazing really. People are producing a lot of really phenomenal stuff beyond BPs. But that is of course heresy on this site. Normal BPs were in abundance -- morphs not so much. Except for one table. Jons Jungle had the most beautiful selection of 06 and 07 morphs for sale. Maybe as many as 50 and just spectacular every one -- Bumble Bees, Honey Bees, Caramels, Albino Spiders, Pastel Ghosts, and on and on -- just really neat stuff. I read a lot about the BP market imploding but that did not seem to be reflected in San Diego this morning. Jons Jungle was doing a brisk business and his table was hardly panic-priced. And yeah, there was this one f/butter that we just could not resist. So we didn't (if his mother is reading, it was really more Nate than me ). Anyway, these shows are big fun if you've never been. Wish there were more of them. Word to the SD organizers though -- next year rent a bigger hall!
