Fertilizer removal

pixie343 Jul 01, 2007 04:49 PM

I just got a new hibiscus plant and I want to be sure to get all the fertilizer off because Pumpkin eats the plant. What is the best way to get it off. I tried spraying it with water for a few days but to is not really coming off.

You can use a little veg or olive oil on the leafs and remove the soil completly.

Do you mean that there are spots or stains on the leaves? It might be hard water marks, but it is better to be sure.

There is a type of white residue on the leaves. It comes of if I rub it. So I'll try the olive oil.

Thanks
