teaching my dragons to eat pellets? can someone help me?

hi, i was wondering how i go about and teach my dragons how to eat pellets. their still pretty much babies, so is it better i waite tell they get older? or is it ok to start now? there are some people on this forum that feed just pellets and greens right? how do you teach your dragon to do that? i mean mine will eat their greens, but they like their crickets too! any info would be greatly appreciated! also whats the best pellet brand? thanx

I'm pretty sure you can't teach bearded dragons to eat pellets when they're younger. It seems like the crickets are their staples as juvenile and as they age, the greens become the bulk of their diet. If you got to www.vandivers.com, they have pretty good instructions as to how it can be done, but it takes time and they have to be of age.

You can teach them to eat pellets at ANY age. There are some people on here that raise their dragons on pellets from day 1. There are all kinds of tricks to get them to eat them. Just do a search and I am sure you will find what you are looking for. Here is a good one that I just found:

I'm sorry. I was referring to making pellets and greens as their staple if they were young dragons.
