Great looking BCC everybody!
Here's a little purple guyana lady, a female peruvian and a male suri.

Man I love the "little purple guyana lady", she is a nice one. I really think that if I get back into BCC I will end up with a Guyana purple monster. My only problem is that the nicest colors I have seen have been on the fresh imports. I wish somebody would figure out why that is. Nice snakes!!
Jason
Thank you for the compliment!
That purple lady guyana in the above post is named “Violet.”
I've noticed the dramatic color changes in imports as well. More interestingly, I often notice a huge color change after treatments for parasites.
Here's are two pictures of an imported female suri after completing my standard regimen of dewormers. The top one is within the first day or two of having her. The one on the bottom with the shed is after all of the treatments.
I feel that she lost some of her red hue but that her pattern became more crisp. I also notice a difference in the texture of the skin. It almost seems as if there’s some sort of film on it beforehand. I can only guess that this is from parasites. Once they’re eliminated, everything seems to “clear up.”
Aaron

The top two are females and the bottom one is a male.

Here's a rescued Boa I decided to hang on to. I really like her pink undertones and the price was right!
